Final Fantasy

The Final Fantasy series originated from Japan. The Final Fantasy's That we see here in North America are similar but differs slightly. Most of you probably are asking -"What happened to Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI?" Well the answer to that is. Square of Japan didn't release three of their seven Final Fantasy's in North America. They Released Final Fantasy I and didn't bother to release Final Fantasy II and III, because they thought that it wouldn't sell. Then, they decided to release Final Fantasy IV and name it Final Fantasy II in North America. They thought it didn't sell so well so they decided against releasing Final Fantasy V. And once again, they gave it another try, and released Final Fantasy VI as Final Fantasy III. And that DID sell very well, so they released Final Fantasy VII as VII, I guess it was to stop the confusion…

That's some pretty confusing Information eh? Anyway…

Final Fantasy IV

Final Fantasy IV is the first Final Fantasy for the Super Nintendo. The graphics aren't the best of its kind, but it has one of the best Final Fantasy Stories, and a lot of great music. You can always count on SquareSoft to deliver top of the line RPG's.

Final Fantasy VI

Final Fantasy VI is a GIANT step from Final Fantasy IV and V. First of all, its 32 bit unlike Final Fantasy IV and V which are 16 bit.

The story is quite above average and there are now side-quests to make the game more interesting.

Once again SquareSoft has set a new standard for RPG's.

Final Fantasy VII
-"Quite possibly the greatest game ever made"
Game Fan Magazine

Final Fantasy VII is even a larger step from Final Fantasy VI, than Final Fantasy VI from IV. For one thing the graphics are better. But there's a bit, a BIT, less challenge (except for the Weapons) than previous Final Fantasy's. SquareSoft really goes out on a limb for the story. Not only is the story great and compelling, it makes us feel for the characters. They build up their characters so much, that they become lifelike.
